In quintessential little sister style, I made my way to the piano bench at 4 years old in an attempt to emulate my big sister. What started as me being a copy cat became a lifelong expression of my passion for music.

Performer
In middle school I got into jazz and by high school I was playing paid “gigs” and even got a chance to record a big band cd with other talented students from across the city of Pittsburgh.

Connoisseur
In college I stepped away from playing and focused on event planning and producing live shows.

Teacher
My last stop in North Carolina was a weekend position teaching piano at a community center in Raleigh. Teaching piano and working at the center’s after-school program were probably the most rewarding experiences I’ve had.

Composer
Once I got to New York, playing piano took a back seat to paying the rent, but I continued to play occasionally and in 2009 earned my first IMDB credit by composing and performing the score for Whistle Lesson.

Next
With a renewed focus on what comes naturally, I’m looking forward to composing more and working with independent content creators to find and license music for their projects.
